Paul Buford "Boots" Riley

Mr. Riley was a United States Air Force veteran who served during World War II. He retired from Byerly Motor Ford after 37 years and was a life long member of First Baptist Church of Fairdale where he served as Deacon and a Sunday school teacher.

He is preceded in death by his parents, S.J. and Loretta Riley and brothers, Milburn, Alex and Raymond Riley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wanda Carty Riley; sisters, Joy Shadburne, Vivian Just (Herbie) and Shirley Riley; brothers, Bill (Pat) and Harry Riley (Betty); sisters-in-law, Betsey Mae Riley and Mary Riley; brother-in-law, Russell Carty (Roberta) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst.
