Peggy Holland

Mrs. Peggy L. Holland, age 60, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Mrs. Holland was a homemaker, a member of New Grace Church and Family Adult Day Care. Among those that preceded her in death include her father, Walter Hester, Sr.; grandparents, Walter S. and Bertha Hester; and grandmother, Mary Long. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Marvin R. Holland, Sr.; son, Marvin R. Holland II (Lisa); daughters, Amanda Holland-Perkins (Jeremy) and Jennifer Holland; mother, Christine Hester; sisters, Rose Mary Williams (Bill Wayne) and Kathy Tichenor (Monty); brothers, Walter M. Hester, Jr. (Vickie) and Johnny Hester (Sheila); grandchildren, Curtis Yankey and Theresa Holland; many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted noon on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Mt. Eden Cemetery.
