Pennie Rachelle Holman

Pennie Rachelle Holman, age 48, passed away on September 27th 2026 in Fairdale, Kentucky. Born on September 29th, 1977 to parents Betty Ann Tucker and Scotty James Strunk Sr, she was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and, most importantly to her, a mother and a grandmother.

Those who knew her will forever remember her for her gentle soul and her warm and generous nature. She had an infectious smile, a huge heart and would help anyone in need at any time. She will mostly be remembered for the love she had for her three sons and two grandchildren.

She found joy in the simple things in life like listening to music, writing and doodling and going on hikes with her son. Most importantly she loved spending time with her sons and spending time and playing with her grandchildren.

Despite facing severe hardships in her life, her resilience, unique perspective on the world, determination to never give up and her ability to keep fighting for what was right and what she believed in has left a lasting impression on those she loved and those who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother Betty Ann Tucker, her father Scotty James Strunk Sr. and the love of her life, John Michael Nash. She leaves behind her sister Lizzy Holman, her brother Brandon Strunk, her three sons Joshua Thomas Nash, Johnathan Michael Nash and Jacob Wayne Nash (Madison Lynn Arnold), her grandson Jadyn Michael-Allen Nash, her granddaughter Lacie Michelle Nash and countless nieces and nephews.
