Gray Isert has entered his heavenly home in less time than a blink of an eye. With a can-do approach, army of one attitude, take the next hill view of life, he lived life to the fullest even in times of adversity. Self-sacrificing for others, willing to stand on principle which flew in the face of odds sometimes, Gray often would state “I would rather be a doorman for Jesus, than a general in Satan’s army” and would not have changed one day in his life. For those that know him and his background, this is truly amazing.
Preceding Gray in his journey is his love and wife of 61 years, Carolyn; daughter-in-law Tammy; mother, Jane; and father, Gray.
Waiting for the day to join him are sons, Scott and Chris (Jessica); grandson Grayson; brother Don and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews; great neighbors; his church family at Radiant Life and many friends along the way.
Gray would leave you with the following to ease your mind, and had it marked in his Bible:
I Corinthians 15:55-57 “O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Gray has now been transformed into having a glorified body to spend eternity with God, the moment that he waited for is now here.
