

Ramona Lee Pinyerd, age 74, passed away on August 1, 2026. She was born on January 19, 1952, in Monroe, Michigan, and lived a life marked by devotion to her family and the many simple joys that brought her happiness.
Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from the people she loved. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Pinyerd and his wife Jessica; her daughter, Sandra Tietje; her grandchildren, Houston Pinyerd, Parker Pinyerd, Hannah Cleveland, Autumn Famulare, Madison Holzwart, Amber Fleming, and Zachary Tietje; and her great-grandchildren, Thomas, Genovia, Josie, Freya, Leo, Aubrey, and Christian. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Bella, who was a faithful companion and a cherished part of her daily life.
Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pinyerd; her parents, Clyde and Mary Chumley; her sister, Theresa Miller; and her in-laws, Walter and Beulah Pinyerd. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she carried their love with her always.
She found joy in many interests and hobbies over the years. Ramona enjoyed quilting, where her patience and creativity were reflected in every stitch. She also appreciated the fellowship and shared interests found through the Tennessee Walking Horse Association and GWRRA. Her life was enriched by her love of bees, cattle, and horses, and she took great pleasure in the beauty and rhythm of country living. Above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable pride and happiness.
A graveside service for Ramona will be held on September 19, 2026 at 2pm at Chumley Cemetery in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Charles.
