Rayma Frances Hawkins

Mrs. Rayma Frances Hawkins, age 87, of Louisville, Ky passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Kentucky on April 23, 1937, to the late Davison Crouch, and Gertie Mae (Hendren) Crouch. Rayma was a devoted and loving wife and mother, grandmother, she retired after 35 years of service with General Electric, a former member of Minors Lane Baptist Church, she belonged to the Red Hat Society, played cards with the seniors Rook Club, and was a group leader for Toby Tours where she enjoyed taking many trips. She also was a Mall walker, loved working in her flower gardens, and she loved her fur baby BoBo. Rayma will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Fred S. Hawkins, sister Mary Benham, brother Joseph Crouch.

She is survived by daughter Susan Hawkins Groves, son Davison Stewart Hawkins (Christy), grandchildren Jamie Sumner, Marcus Ray Sumner, (Cheyenne) Fred Beckham, Marley Goeing (Kevin), Colin Ray Harlow, Carson Hawkins Harlow, great-grandchildren Lexi Goeing, Mason Goeing, Tucker Goeing, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Visitation service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). With burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
