Rita Jo Anderson

Mrs. Rita Jo Anderson, age 67, of Shepherdsville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Mrs. Anderson was born in Louisville, KY on October 12, 1954 to the late Joe Stallings and Ramona Ash Stallings. She was a certified medical assistant and attended Journey Christian Church in Shepherdsville.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Roger D. Anderson, Sr.; children, Angela Myers (Kyle), Brian Smith, Matthew Smith (Amanda), Roger Anderson, Jr. (Angie) and Tess Michelle Wilson (Chris); grandchildren, Ashley, Dalton, Jaden, Jaxon, Jace, Matthew Jr., Lily Mae, Brooke, Lance and Cheyeane; great- grandson, Hudson; sister, Sharon Montague; her fur babies, Toby and Bella and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends and family may pay their respects from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with a funeral service at 6:00 pm (visitation will continue after the service). Cremation will follow the services.
