Rita Joyce Nalley

Ms. Rita Joyce Nalley, age 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Rita was born in Vine Grove, Ky, to the late Herman Atcher and Maymie “Louise” Willliams. She retired from General Electric after 30 plus years of service, she was Catholic by Faith, a loving and devoted mother. Rita will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jill Ann Doyle, sons Steven Doyle, and Patrick Nalley, and Father Stanley Hinton.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Martha Hall (Jim), and a host of numerous nieces and nephews and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at Brooks Kentucky) with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday April 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
