Mr. Robert Lee Hedges, age 78, of Brooks, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Mr. Hedges was born on July 12, 1940, in Louisville to the late Joseph Robert and Mary Catherine (Applegate) Hedges.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 55 years, Patsy (Trent) Hedges; children, Tonya Shepherd (Dodd), Bobby Hedges, Brian Hedges (Rhonda); 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Heath.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home and on Friday from 10 am until time of service.
