Robert L. Smith

Mr. Robert L. Smith, age 73, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on September 6, 2014. Mr. Smith was a horse trainer and a member of Seventh Day Advent. Among those that preceded him in death include his mother, Lucy Bell Stigers; daughter, Sherida Jean Smith Ashley; and brother, Mike Smith. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion, Gail Reid; brother, Charles Lee Smith (Nell); sisters, Barbara Diersing and Ruth Ann Hilldebrand (Leo); and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
