Robin Ann Flaherty

Mrs. Robin Ann (Smith) Flaherty, age 72, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Mrs. Flaherty was born in Louisville, KY on October 1, 1952, to the late Florence Krueger Smith and Wallace Smith. Robin was a dedicated insurance agent by profession, was an avid tennis player and casino enthusiast. Her smile and warmth lit up every room she entered. Above all else, she was devoted to her family and was the best Nana- endlessly supportive, loving, kind and fun.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 53 years, Gary Flaherty; children, Lisa Moore (Mike) and Keith Flaherty (Tiffany); grandchildren, Jared (Morgan), Dylan (Libby), Sophia and Wyatt; special friend, Charlotte Newton; two sisters; one brother and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of her service at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Brown Cancer Center. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to their incredible infusion staff for their compassionate care and provided comfort through Robin’s journey.
