Roger Thompson

Roger L. Thompson age 66 of Fairdale was born March 6, 1947 to the late Hollen and Helen Oakes Thompson and returned to his Heavenly Father February 4, 2014. Mr. Thompson is a member of Harvest Baptist Church , a Kentucky Colonel and retired worker for Jefferson County Public Works.

Among those who preceded him in death include his brother, Donnie Thompson and his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Pamela Swan Thompson; daughters, Lori Borba (Lloyd) and Melissa Thompson; step sons, Roger Dale Miller and Timothy Thompson; sisters, Diana Wagner and Faye Ruccio (Jim); brothers, Ronnie (Bernice) and Russel Thompson; grandchild, Haylee Borba; several nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 12 P.M. Friday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
