Ronald Sherman Muir Sr.

Mr. Ronald Sherman Muir Sr., age 71, of Pioneer Village returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was born on July 3, 1950. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil C. and Barbara Muir; along with his brother, Richard C. Muir.

He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. Ron enjoyed many different hobbies, including radio control flying and building model planes. He was apart of the family championship at Louisville Motor Speedway in 2001. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Kentucky Wildcats. His favorite player was Mickey Mantle. He enjoyed time with his bird, Buddy Cockatoo and his dog Lady.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Ronald Muir Jr. (Tammy) and Timothy Muir (Dena); his siblings, Cindy Schuster and Dennis Muir; his grandson, Joshua S. Muir (Amelia); his granddaughters, Kristan, Katelyn Muir; his great granddaughters, Kaleigh Muir and Addison Grace Muir; along with his nephews and a niece.

The family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life at a later date. Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks is in charge of arrangements.
