Ronald Glenn Schumacher

Mr. Schumacher was born April 17, 1944 in Louisville and retired from Fischer Packing. He was a coach and limo driver for Greater Louisville Funeral Limousine, a member of Highland Park First Baptist Church and volunteered for Okolona Fire Department.

Mr. Schumacher was a member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865, Aahmed Grotto, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shriners.

Among those who preceded him in death include his wife, Sandy Schumacher; parents, Lee and Marguerite Thurman Schumacher and siblings, James, Eugene, Betty and John Schumacher.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Chris Schumacher (Erin); granddaughter on the way, Hannah; siblings, Donnie Schumacher and Norma Still and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Floydsburg Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.

Expression of sympathy may be made to Hannah, Ron's granddaughter that he was excited about meeting in January.
