Roy Brock

Mr. Roy Brock, age 62, of Hillview, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Mr. Brock was born in Chicago, IL on May 30, 1959 to the late John Brock and Bertha Brock and he retired from Preferred Printing, a division of Papa John’s International.

In addition to his parents, his sister, Loretta Brock Schneider preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 36 years, Karen Brock; children, Rachel Buchanan (Daniel) and James “JC” Brock; grandson, Emerson Buchanan; siblings, Wayne Brock (Becky), Debbie Brock Dixon (Bob), Tony Brock (Kim), Elvis Brock (Anna) and Gary Abner; aunt, Naomi Abner and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Hardy- Close Funeral Home (285 S. Buckman St., Shepherdsville) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at noon at Hardy- Close Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or to Animal House Adoption Center of Louisville.
