I praise the Lord today for giving me the opportunity to meet Sammie and his family, he was a good friend to many, kind, thoughtful, caring.  I know he is in Jesus's care today

grandpa i miss u a lot i love you with all my heart

Gramps, I just want to tell you thank you for being such an impact on my life, helping me when I needed the help, comforting me when I needed it.  You are such a blessing to me, and I'm thankful that I got to spend all 20 years of my life with you, as my grandfather. You are the most amazing man, that I have ever, & will ever meet. Ariya and I miss you, and love you so much.  You're always going to be in our hearts! Not a day is going to go by that Ariya won't be reminded of you, She loves you so much. <3 I miss you, more than anything. But I know that you're with God, and the two of you are going to take care of us, and watch over us, You'll forever be in my heart gramps. I love you.

My uncle has arrived at his favorite destinations. . . Heaven.   My heart very much aches but is also comforted by knowing my uncle is with his Lord and Savior as well as the rest of our family.  My father and my uncle are one of the main reasons why I am who I am today. Without them, life would not be the same.  Jimmy helped me through the loss of my father.  We spoke a lot since my dad's passing and had some great conversations.   My most memorable times growing up are the great times our families had camping (Patoka, Kentucky, Geist, Barren, Cumberland, Taylorsville and Dale Hollow!) lakes, waterskiing and dirt bikin' (flood walk).   My heart goes out to my cousins Jimmy L, Scott, Cody, Melissa, Kenny and his dear wife whom he loved so much Liz.  One of my favorite stories is when Dad, Jimmy and Dickie drove out to California to bring Ann back home.  Jimmy was a heck of a race car driver in the late 60's at the Speedrome in Indianapolis.  He had a number of trophies.  As my father and uncle said . . . if they can do it, you can do it.  Forever in my heart, I love and will miss you Jimmy.

from my earliest memories of Sammy . the first thing was him smiling cutting up all the time and had a love for his family . he was always thankful to the good lord and i don't think you could talk to him without god being mentioned somehow someway  . he didn't  have allot growing up . but that taught  him to work hard and figure out other ways to get things through trading or fixing up stuff and selling it . he told me a few storys of his younger years which made me respect him more . he made me realize that anything was possible if you love god .if it wasnt you still had god and that was all you needed. he loved his family . would do anything he could for you . or give a stranger the shirt off his back . Sammy loved cars and motorcycles . i remember a fire bird he had painted candy apple red . his old jeep it was a golden eagle cj7. and so many more .in alot of ways im alot like him . ONLY THING IS I NEVER HERD ANYBODY PRAISE JESUS AS MUCH AS HIM THANKS sammy for all you did for me . the things you knew you did and the thing you didnt know but you touchd my life. you loved my mom like no other person i know but my dad . you didnt have to do anything but you did . you were my cousin  my friend and my family . the world lost a good one bud love dan ..

We are so very sorry for your loss. Sam will truly be missed here on earth. He was always smiling with a glow that could only be God. Sam is in Heaven now face to face with Jesus celebrating. h.ey pops,i love u so much.ill miss u so much.i know were u are in heaven with our heavenly father.i can see u dancing up there and praising god.and rejoicing.i know u are by my side cause u told me, the other nite cause u came to me and told me.i know what I have to do and I done did it.i got my heart right with god cause I want to be with u in heaven.im gonna take ur place at Maryville church of god.i will help mom out to cause I know u would want me to.im gonna stay right with god cause we don't know when we will go pops just like u did,we didn't know u were going to go.so im making u this promise dad.cause u wanted this so im gonna do it. I will truly miss you sammy, It just wont seem right going to lizzys without you there! I never dreamed those 14 years ago when i got with a man named Daniel Ray that i was getting a whole new family, and sadly to say a family that i have grown to love more than my own. Sammy u were truly a special and unique man  one of a kind no one can ever replace you. I never seen a man w ur wisdom and love for god not to mention ur love for ur family! You loved with no exceptions, with all your heart, you didnt hold back. You have left a void in so many lives, a void that only the lord can heal, and i do pray that he will heal every heart that is breaking and every mind that cant rest, every eye that wont stay dryand every head that cant lay down. I truly love all of you that sammbo has left behind, Ilove u all so much and im also here for you just like i have been even before his passing! RIP Sammy Gibson

I remember Jimmie was always smiling and had something nice to say about everything and everybody. He was one of the most kind and gentle men that I have ever known. He loved life, but most of all he loved God and his family. I know where he is, and I know my mom (Ada), dad (Don) and his loved ones were happy to see him when he arrived. If he could send his family a message it would be; It is so wonder and beautiful here in heaven. I can't wait for you to see Jesus and what He has prepared for us. My love will always be with you and I will see you again soon, so don't be sad for me I am alive and free. Jimmie you will always be in our hearts, and your family in our prayers. daddy i love you soo very much and its so hard to live without you apart of my life, last night on august the 4th i accepted christ as my personal savior i wished so much that you could of been here for you to see all 4 of kids to get truely right with god, you was such a amazing man of god and a wonderful husband and a very loveing fatheryou are so greatly missed here, i no your in a much better place now but this fleshly body misses you so much, us kids have not left mom side in her time of sorrow. i think of you constantly and cant wait until i see you standing in the pearly gates of heaven i miss and love you infinity and to the moon and back. i want to thank you for being the best father a daughtr could could ask for i love you daddy always and forever and a day rip daddy.
