Sara Ann Allen

Mrs. Sara Ann Allen, age 72, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on Sunday, November 20, 1949, to the late Wylie and Pauline Parker. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Junior, Lonnie, Esther, James, Shelia and Plina.

She was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed shopping and time with her family. Ann was a caregiver for more than 25 years, taking care of her grandchildren, neighbors, family and friends. She had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of over 50 years, John Allen; her children, Erik Allen (Shawna), Misty Burkhead and Shana Mahoney (Bill); her siblings, Cathy Harris, Jewell Skaggs (Kendall), Rutha Carbetta and Linda Gentzel (Royce); her grandchildren, Dakota, Erika, Charity and Brenna and her great grandchild, Peyton; along with a host of family, friends and fur babies.

Memorial service will be at 4pm Sunday, October 30, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00pm until time of service at 4pm.
