Shirley Hagan Boone

Mrs. Shirley Mae Hagan Boone, age 85, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Mrs. Boone was born in New Haven, KY on February 2, 1936 to the late Michael E. Hagan and Ethel Linton Hagan. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, Joseph Leland Boone; brothers, Leo and Johnny Hagan and sister, Ann Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Brenda Boone, Pam Higgs (John) and Kevin Boone; 2 grandchildren, Alisha Higgs and Jonathan Higgs (Morgan); sister, Betty Smith (Danny) and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 21, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
