

Steven Craig Findley, age 69, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He was born February 14, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William Hinton Findley, Sr, and Bonnie (Ezzell) Findley. He was a 1972 graduate from Sandusky High School in Ohio. Craig retired after 23 years of service from Ford (LAP) assembly plant as an electrician, a job he truly enjoyed. He loved hockey, hiking in the parks, a good joke and telling stories. Craig was an animal lover. He had 9 cats, and two dogs. But most of all he loved Lee’s Famous Recipe Fried Chicken. There is no doubt that he will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother William Hinton Findley, Jr, and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Violet Day, his three sons Tom Findley (Ashley), Steven Craig Findley, Jr, and David Allen Findley, his ten grandchildren Sammy, Trinity, Tommy, Aaron, Steven, Katrina, Claire, Starr, Brayden, and Addison, three great-grandchildren Zoe, Kaylyn, and Kayley, his mother Bonnie Findley, two sisters Deborah Coffey, Jane Ramsey (Dewayne), two brothers Marc Findley ( Kari), and Joseph Findley (Rhonda), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway at John Harper Freeway). Cremation to follow. In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be given in Craig's name to Hosparus of Louisville, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
