Susan Carter

Mrs. Susan (Sims) Carter, age 71, of South End of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on May 11, 2019. Mrs. Carter was born on March 7, 1948 in Raywick, KY to the late Joseph E. and Mary N. (Raley) Sims. Mrs. Carter was a homemaker. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; husband, Dean R. Carter; sisters, Dorothy Graves and Gala Powell. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Chad Carter; step-sons, Terry and Eddie Carter; 8 grandchildren; sisters, Mona Parrott and Maggie Jutz; and brothers, David, Jimmy and Joe Sims.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment to follow at Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery.
