Terry Dale Burford

Mr. Terry Burford, age 59, of Pioneer Village, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. He was born on December 23, 1960, in Charleston, West Virginia to Margaret Dickens and the late James Burford. Mr. Burford retired from BMV Electric where he was an electrician and a member of IBEW Local 369. He also was a United States Marine veteran. Mr. Burford was an avid U of K fan and a real outdoors man.  He loved the lake and fishing, hunting and being in the country. Mr. Burford loved his family dearly and he will be greatly missed.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Burford; brother, Danny Burford; niece, Renee Mills; and nephew, Nicholas Burford. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Margaret Dickens; brothers, Michael Chetwood, Mark Chetwood, Jerry Burford (Debbie), and Vicki Mills (Donnie); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (N. Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
