Terry Lynn Underwood

Ms. Terry Lynn Underwood age 60, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Ms. Underwood was born in Louisville, KY on October 12, 1958 to the late William Underwood and Joyce (Cox) Matthews.

Ms. Underwood was best known for her kind and compassionate heart. She loved her family and friends dearly and never met a stranger. She currently worked at Jewish Hospital South and had worked at Jewish Hospital for 30 years. She took pride in being part of the TOPS weight support group.

Among those who preceded her in death are her parents; and sister, Pam Fisher.

She leaves to cherish her memory, numerous cousins; nephew, Chris Fisher (Misty); aunts, Juanita Harris, Betty Jane Ratliff, and aunt Lydia Bennett; special friends, Sue Howell (Mike) and Lucy Patton; TOPS support group; and a host of other friends and family.

Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
