Thelma Florence Henry

Thelma Florence Henry, age 94, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 29, 2022.  She was a member of Wellman Memorial Wesleyan Church. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 25, 1927, to the late Joseph Doc Probus and Dora Bell Probus. Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Henry II; her parents; daughters, Mary Rose Henry and Lisa Jones; sons, John J. Henry III and Jerry Henry; sister, Mary Watson; brothers, Carl, Joseph, David and Junior Probus.  She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Steve Henry (Geneva), Laura Humbert, Dora Gary (Tom), Robert Henry (Holly) and Barbara Ranney; sister, Barbara L. Probus; 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 9 great great  grandchildren ; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends survive. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday , August 3, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home
