

Mr. Thomas Leman Hagan, age 84, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Mr. Hagan was born on April 16, 1939 to the late James Athansius Hagan and Rose Riggs Hagan. He retired from LG&E and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Sarto Club, a member and Lector at St. Rita Catholic Church, and a member of St. Ann’s Confraternity.
In addition to his parents, his granddaughter, Brianna and siblings, Hugh Riggs (Cecelia), Nick Riggs (Elizabeth) (Izola), Mary Lily Wimsatt (Walter), Ambrose Riggs (Leona), Eric Riggs (Sarah), Benny Riggs (Mary Jo), Valeria Stayton (Bert), Theodore Riggs (Jean ) (Faye), Anita May (John), Mary Sadelbia Riggs, Sadie Braden, George Melvis Riggs (Janie), Tommy Riggs (Joan) and Philip Hagan preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Barbara R. Hagan; children, Holly Horn, Tim Hagan, Greg Hagan (Casey) and Sharon Meador (Mark); grandchildren, Christina (Andrew), and Aidan; great-granddaughter, Melody and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 2, 2023 at St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Hwy., Louisville) with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)
