He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Reva Brown and two sisters, Judy Allen and Theresa Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Steven Brown (Sandra), Jennifer Hellinger (Peter) and David Brown; grandchildren, Megan, Carter and Hailey Brown, Brittany and Joseph Russell; brothers, Arnold Griffee (Cheryl), Fred Brown (Mary) and Keith Brown (Debbie); sisters, Gerri McCoy, Barbara Foley (Doug), Betty Hester (Donald) and Dianna Underwood (Melvin).
