Wanda Lou Hardwick

Wanda Lou Hardwick, age 88, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 9, 2021.  Wanda was born in Columbia, Kentucky on July 22, 1933, to the late Everett and Madeline Beard Tarter. She was a member of Okolona Christian church and of the Order of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Hardwick and daughter, Cheryl Armstrong. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, John Hardwick; two sons Terry Hardwick (Debbie) and Mark Hardwick (Sarah); daughter, Vicki Barnes (Keith); six grandchildren, Ashley, Evan, Arika, Dillon, Alex and Amanda; three great grandchildren, Landon, Lakyn and Connor; her cousin Jeanette Withers who was Just Like a Sister.   Funeral service will be held at12 pm on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Okolona Christian Church 10801 Faithful Way Louisville, KY with  burial in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at 1pm until 8 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) and at the church from 10 am until time of service. www.subfuneralhome.com
