Wilda Marie Hodges

Mrs. Wilda Marie Hodges, age 80, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on December 9, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1938 in Edmonson County to the late Emmitt and Lilly Rigdon. Mrs. Hodges worked in the healthcare industry caring for the elderly and was a member of Zion United Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; husband, Mack Hodges; sisters, Susan, Ruby and Ethel Brooks; brothers, John, Elzie “Ted” and Narvel Rigdon; and son-in-law, Chris Marcum. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Delilah Hodges and Holly Marcum; grandchildren, Sara Dunn (Greg) and Kayla Brooks-Decker; great grandson, Harrison Dunn; and siblings, Surrilda Hodges, Overt, Arvel and Melvin Rigdon.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday, December 14, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery.
