He leaves behind his wife Nancy Cummings; son, James; daughters, Misty and Cathy; he raised, Emilee and Trenton; survived by many grandchildren; and a host of family and extended family.
Bill is preceded in death by his biological parents, Willard Ray Cummings Sr. and Catherine Louise “Miss Kitty” Baker.
He spent 12 years as a member of the IBEW, then carried on his work with Sabert. He finally retired from the Lyons Co. in 2025.
Bill shared an intense love for Harley Davidson with many friends and family. He leaves behind a very large and loving biker community, one that Bill found a home in.
He was a Baptist by faith, though was just as devout about being a true blue Kentucky fan. He also loved his Bengals and Buffalo Bills, but his Wildcats meant the most to him.
We want to give a special thank you to Cathy from Hospice in Louisville for handling his transition with the most imaginable care. He passed peacefully at home with the love and comfort of his wife of 17 years Nancy Cummings.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
