Edwin C. Rogers

Edwin C. Rogers, age 78 of Shiner, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 10, 2012. Edwin was born on June 27, 1933 in Senath, Missouri to the late Chester Eugene and Mary Lucille (Griffin) Rogers.

Mr. Rogers was member of the Shrine and a 32nd degree Mason for 56 years and he served in the Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Rogers retired from Merrill Lynch in 1993 and was a loving husband father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Mary Ann House.

Edwin is survived by his wife; Alice “Toni” Rogers of Shiner, Texas, two sons; James E. Rogers (Melissa) of Shiner, Texas and Kenneth C. Rogers of Neosho Missouri, two sisters; Delpha Williams (Jesse) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Oneida Greanya (Tom) of Hale, Michigan and five grandchildren; Gunner Rogers, Jolene Rogers, Joycelyn Rogers, Jody Rogers all of Shiner and Levi Rogers of Neosho Missouri.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the Shiner Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Shiner Methodist Food Bank.
