

Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00 am at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiner Catholic Cemetery in Shiner, Texas. A Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 9:30 am at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas. Visitation at Buffington Funeral Home will begin Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 am. The family will be at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to greet friends and guest.
Ella was born on February 7, 1917 in Shiner, Texas. She was the daughter of Rudolph and Minnie (Haas) Seidenberger. She graduated from Saint Ludmilla’s Academy in 1934, and then began her career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as a switchboard operator. She worked in Shiner and Corpus Christi for forty-seven years. She was a member of “Southwestern Bell Pionees”, (a retirement association).She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Alter Society. She received her first Communion on April 22, 1928 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. She was a member of Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church.
Ella is survived by one sister; Leona Meyer, four nieces; Suzanne Sestak, Mary Ann Rother, JoAnn Winkenwerder, Bernice Motal, three nephews; Robert Meyer, James Seidenberger, and Mark Seidenberger. She was preceded in death by one sister; Ann Seidenberger, three brothers; Henry Seidenberger, Leon Seidenberger, Adolph Seidenberger, and one niece; Jeanette Edmondson.
Pallbearers for Ms. Seidenberger will be; James Seidenberger, Richard Sestak, Kenney Siegel, Mark Jalufka, Russell Machacek, David Motal, and Michael Edmondson.
