As Gene’s daughter-in-law, he never treated me like a daughter in-law he always treated me like his daughter,
In his younger years he wouldn’t miss a grandson baseball game , or a granddaughter dance recital. As he got older and he went to a few great grandsons baseball games, he loved building things for the kiddos toy boxes
Tables & chairs. He loved life. And we so miss him. Love you Grandpa.

As a child I remember Uncle Gene at Christmas time always asking with a smile, “Is Santa going to come to your house? He only goes to houses with children that have been good, so I guess he will be coming to your house for sure!”
As an adult I remember always being greeted with a nod and a smile, and he ALWAYS had his shirt neatly tucked in!
Fond memories of a wonderful uncle.
