Katherine Sembera

Katherine Sembera, age 97, of Shiner, Texas passed away on October 29, 2010. Katherine was born on December 9, 1912 to the late Albert and Katrina Vincik in Shiner, Texas. Katherine was the 2nd to the last bornof fifteen children. On October 30, 1934, Katherine married her love, Alfred Sembera in Hallettsville, Texas. They were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Pearl, Lillie and Joyce. Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 14 brothers and sisters and one granddaughter. She is survived by her daughters: Pearl Ziebert, Lillie Krebs, and Joyce Jackson-Lev, 3 grandchildren: Raymond Zeibert Jr., Aaron Krebs and Paul Vanek, great grandchildren: Justin, Courtney and Curtis Vanek and numerous step grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 7am to 9pm at Buffington Funeral Home. Service will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Buffington Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiner Cemetery.
