Natividad Perez

Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner, Texas and will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas with Father Bryan Heyer officiating. Interment will follow at Shiner City Cemetery in Shiner, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 6:30 pm at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel.

Natividad was born on September 9, 1922 in Falfurrias, Texas. He was the son of Doroteo and Petra (Garcia) Perez. On August 7, 1949, Nacho married the love of his life, Ester P. Perez. Together, they raised their five children in Gonzales, Texas. Natividad was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved ranching and gardening. He retired from Cannonade Ranch after thirty-two years of service. He was very Passionate about the work he did.

Nacho is survived by three sons; Rudolfo and his wife, Josie of Cuero, Texas, Ruben Perez of Shiner, Texas, Ricky Perez and his wife, Laura of Shiner, Texas, two brothers; Ysidoro Perezand his wife, Hilda of Falfurrias, Texas, Aldaberto Perez and his wife, Soila of Falfurrias, Texas, fifteen grandchildren; Dina, Debbie, Margaret, Brenda, Rupert, Jr. ”Peanut”, Arnulfo, Jr. “Nuno”, Dolores, Mary Ester, Elizabeth, Alfred, Jamie, Kimberly, Anthony “AJ”, Stephanie and Stacy who called him “Welo”, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Doroteo and Petra Perez, his loving wife of 67 years, one son; Ruperto Perez, Sr., one daughter; San Juanita Garcia, five brothers; Jesus Perez, Trinidad Perez, Gelacio Perez, Domingo Perez, Manuel Perez, two sisters; Lucia DeLeon, Petra Rodriguez, and one grandson; Ruperto Perez, Jr.

Pallbearers for Mr. Perez will be; Arnulfo “Nuno” Garcia, Alfred Garcia, Anthony “AJ” Perez, Damian Lewis, Cayman Lewis, and Joey Gamez.
