

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Arthur Ivey Clark, Sr., 76, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Bishopric of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Arthur was born on August 10, 1935 in Coushatta, LA and passed away on May 28, 2012 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Stonewall, LA. He knew how to fix anything and his family and friends appreciated and depended on these abilities. Mr. Clark enjoyed hunting and fishing. Arthur adored his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Clark served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Preceding Mr. Clark in death were his parents and two sisters.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Arthur is his wife of 54 years, Juanita Clark; children, Arthur Clark, Jr. and wife Cindy, Malinda Phillips and husband Donald and Shelly Sumrall and husband Michael; grandchildren, James, Amber, Lacey, Sydney, Dakota, Trent, Emily and Dalton; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Cameron. Mr. Clark is also survived by four sisters and three brothers.
Honoring Mr. Clark as pallbearers will be Dakota Clark, Trent Clark, Dalton Clark, James Smiley, Jeffrey Lentz and Richard Reynolds.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the VA Medical Center, National Homecare Services and Cornerstone Hospital for the care shown to Mr. Clark.
