Shreveport, LA A service celebrating the life of Arthur Morrison MacBride will be conducted Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. John Harp. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5 until 7 PM and Wednesday from 1 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. MacBride was born August 10, 1931 in New York City. He went to be with his Lord July 30, 2016 in Bossier City.
Mr. MacBride was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church for more than 36 years. He had a long distinguished career serving in the United States Air Force for 34 years and retired as a Colonel.
Mr. MacBride is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Arthur MacBride and a sister Mary. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Billie; step-son, Kyle Williams and wife Melinda; step-daughter, Kim Cornell and husband Tom; six grandchildren, Katherine Cornell, Connor Cornell, Nathan Williams, Sarah Williams, Benjamin Williams, and Elizabeth Williams; other relatives and many friends.
