Ava Jenell Anaya

SHREVEPORT, LA – Ava Jenell Anaya was born on September 25, 2011, to Pedro and Kristy Anaya and returned home on February 13, 2013, after a brief illness. She is survived by her parents; grandmother, Gennet McDaniel of Shreveport; Uncle Tim of Dallas, TX; and numerous family members and friends. She is predeceased by her Aunt Tiffany McDaniel.

Thank you to LSU Medical Center PICU for their expertise and tender care.

There will be a time of fellowship on Friday, February 15, 2013, from 6-8p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA.

My Dearest Kristy & Pedro :
I'm still at a loss for words. How does one ever find the "right thing" to say in moments so delicate as yours ? Just know that you are loved & have the prayers/support of so many people. What an amazing privilege God gave the two of you to be parents of such a precious child although it was only for a short time.

Ava will forever be in our hearts

Kristy & Pedro, I am thinking of you, and you are in my prayers.

John 14:1-3 ESV

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."

Ava is there, smiling & shining down on everyone.

Thinking of you both-
