The cornerstone of her family and the heart of every gathering, Bea brought warmth, strength, and grace into the lives of everyone she knew. A lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, she lived a life rooted in faith and guided by love.
For 37 years, she served her community as a dedicated x-ray technician, offering compassion and care to countless patients. But her greatest joy came from caring for her family. Bea’s home was always filled with the scent of her cooking, the beauty of her garden, the quiet joy of bird songs, and the love she poured into every moment she shared with her children and grandchildren.
She was the thread that stitched the family together, not just with her sewing needle, but with her unconditional love. She was a listener, a nurturer, a prayer warrior, and the trusted anchor in every storm. Her legacy lives on in the faith she passed down.
A devoted member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church, Bea’s faith was central to her life. She loved deeply, forgave freely, and prayed endlessly for everyone- no matter where she went. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit lives on in every life she touched.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Andrea Jennings (Bill) and Sarah Bass (Brian); her grandchildren, Stephen Jennings and Nikki Grimes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who all adored her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Graf and Anita Thomas Graf; and her brother, Michael Cue Graf, Sr.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, with a celebration of Bea’s life to follow at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park (Peace A Garden, Lot: 103, Space: 1), at the same location.
Serving as pallbearers are Bill Jennings, Stephen Jennings, Clay Stephens, Scotty Boykin, Mike Denton, and Michael Graf Jr.
