Mary Bertha "Dottie" Ebarb Pettigrew was born February 11, 1920, the 8th of 9 children born to Cary and Louisa Ebarb. She died at the age of 104 years, 7 months at the Guest House Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation on September 14, 2024, where she resided as a resident for the past 10 years.
The Good Lord blessed our family giving us many years to share past and present memories with our Mother. There were a lot of memories in her mind that would periodically come to surface. She spoke often of her brother JB cooking his sausage and frying fish. Her sisters Alma, Bertie, Julia, Kate, Carrie, Florence "Chucka", and Mary Louise were always coming to visit at her window. Until the day she passed away, she could name each of her siblings in the picture on her wall and would always show the staff her mom & dad's picture. We know there is a reunion going on with these nine siblings finally rejoicing with their parents. A BIG ALLELUIA for sure!
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Coy Pettigrew; daughter, Lois Jean Griffin; granddaughter, Linda Lou Sepulvado; grandson, John Kerry Sepulvado; great great grandson, Asher Allen Sepulvado; seven sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Merendino (grandsons, Thomas, Joe, and granddaughter Donna), Lucille Sepulvado (Grandsons, Jesse, Jack, Danny, Scott; granddaughter Rhonda); Allen "Buck" Sepulvado (wife Virginia) (grandsons, Jeff, Trey), Joseph (Lovie) Sepulvado, Margie Quarles (husband Ronnie) (grandson Dondi), Sueann Chaudoin, (grandson Nico), Kaye Davis (husband Jerry) (Grandsons, Brian & Kevin Jones), Kerry Sepulvado (wife Rama) (granddaughters, Talley, Sondra & Angela); numerous great, great great, and great great great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to The Guest House (Director Chris Bihm) and the entire staff for the care given to our Mom these many years. A very special thanks to "our angel" Rose Robinson who cared for Mom during her entire residency.
