Funeral services celebrating the life of Betty Catherine Curry Cecil, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Betty was born on July 1, 1928 in Rye, Arkansas and passed away on March 12, 2016 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She worked as a Lab Tech at area hospitals and was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church for many years.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son, Michael Cecil an wife Martha; her daughter, Nancy Abbiatti and husband Mike; her grandchildren, Ashley Cecil, Shawon Cecil, Emily Cecil, Chris King, and Jaime Girardi; other relatives and many friends.
