Shreveport, LA Betty Jean Wright Davidson was born October 17, 1934 in Springhill, LA. She went to be with her Lord October 11, 2015 at her home in Shreveport.
Mrs. Davidson was a graduate of Springhill High School. She was a homemaker and a paraprofessional for Caddo Parish School for Exceptional Children. She also was a member of Western Hills Baptist Church for 30 years.
Mrs. Davidson is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Davidson; parents, Octavia and Thomas Wright; a brother, Thomas Woodrow Wright; sisters, Lucille Jones, Lena May Sanders and Audrey Wills. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Davidson; a daughter, Sheila Davidson; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A service celebrating the life of Betty Jean Davidson will be conducted Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Joey Ketchum. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 13, from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be nephews and family friends.
