Betty G. Eames

Betty Gray Eames, age 90, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 after a brief illness. Betty was born October 17, 1931 to Luther and Dora Gray in Quitman, Louisiana.

Proceeding her in death were her parents, five sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James Norman Eames; daughters, Rebecca Swanton and husband, Wade of Arkansas and Pat Griffin and husband, Ben of Missouri; sons, James R. Eames of Shreveport and Joseph A. Eames and wife Joan Patricia of Benton; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren with one on the way in November.

Betty loved her family and friends very much and found good in everyone she met.

A visitation will be held on August 8, 2022 starting at 11:00 AM and funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Centuries Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Betty will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108.
