Brent Ray Nix

Brent Ray Nix, 60, found his place in heaven on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Park. Memorial service will follow, beginning at noon.

Brent was born on February 1, 1962 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Nix, and son, Daniel Nix. Brent is survived by his loving mother, Jackie Wilson; beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn Nix and Kelli Vartanian, and her husband, Tom; brother, Scott Nix, his wife Elizabeth, and daughter Haley; daughter-in-law, Katrina Nix; his precious grandchildren, Madison, Emily, Kaleb, Bentley, Alexia, Bryson, and Sage; and his devoted partner, Sheila Jacobs, and her family.

Brent reveled in the simple pleasures in life – a sunny day on the golf course, an evening grilling by the pool, a holiday weekend at the lake with friends and family. Brent’s kindness and humor is his legacy, which will humbly be carried forth by his loving family.
