Carol Inez Randolph, born on March 29, 1953, in Austin, Texas, the beloved daughter of Steve and Louis Pruit. She departed this life on November 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
Carol met her devoted husband, Joel A. Randolph Jr., in 1979. They married in May 1980, beginning a journey together that spanned 45 years. Throughout their marriage, they made homes in Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania. Carol often remarked that life was never a dull moment with their five children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. While Carol held several jobs outside the home, her true passion was being a homemaker. She took pride in decorating and redecorating their home and found joy in raising their children.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Steve Pruit; mother, Louis Williams Pruit; sister, Jean Parker; son-in-law, Mike Perrin; and grandson, Dale Worthington.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Joel A. Randolph Jr.; children, Andy Randolph and wife, Cindy, Amanda Dangro, Noble Randolph and wife, Lesan, Jennie Engelke, and Joseph Randolph; grandchildren, Justin Worthington, Aleeah Medina and husband, Adrien, Brooke Jansen and husband, Jakob, Haylee Dangro, Valor Randolph and Oakie LeBlanc; great-grandchildren, Theodore "Teddy" Charles Jansen and Ava Medina; sisters, Mary Lou Douglas and Joanne Latham and husband, Cecil. She is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
The visitation will be held at Rose Park Baptist Church, located at 5560 Buncombe Rd., Shreveport, LA 71129, on November 15, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Celebration of Life will follow at the same location, beginning at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, located at 451 Hwy 151 N., Calhoun, LA 71225. Officitiating the services will be Bro. Buck Furlow.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Randolph, Jakob Jenson, Nick Putch, Garrett Jewel, Harvey LeBlanc, and Adrien Medina, with Theodore "Teddy" Charles Jansen serving as an honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Rose Park Baptist Church, Centuries Memorial, Cleveland Clinic Florida, Nightingale Hospice, and to everyone who offered prayers, calls, texts, and unwavering support throughout this journey.
