A retiree of ARKLA Gas with 44 years of service. Mr. McDow proudly served his country in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jo Ann McDow; his children, Dianne Eilbeck and her late husband Doug, David McDow and wife Nancy, and Dana Simmons and fiancé Jimmy Blackwell; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister in law, Vicky Evans, and other relatives and many friends.
A service celebrating the life of Charles Wallace McDow will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev Price Harris. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated caregivers with Companion Care, Home Instead, National Home Health, St Joseph Hospice and private caregivers. Also to the many health professionals involved in his care over the years.
Pallbearers are David McDow, Hunter Simmons, Michael McDow, Cody Simmons, Jimmy Blackwell, and Wyatt Adams.
