Charlie lived a life marked by strength, faith, kindness, and devotion to his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, retired from the Caddo Parish School Board, and was also self-employed-as a paint contractor. He was a member of Baptist Tabernacle for over 50 years.
Charlie was known for his wonderful sense of humor and contagious laughter. He was extremely hardworking and always willing to help anyone in need. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He also cherished a good game of family dominoes. Most of all, he loved the Lord and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Wolfe and Lurah Wolfe, and his sisters, Lula Miller, Mary Zimmerman, Delma Burner, and Edith Corder.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Wolfe; son, Gary Wolfe and wife Kim; and daughter, Lori Sepulvado. Grandchildren: Chad Sepulvado and wife Kristen; Sarah Moore and husband Taylor; Amy Patterson and husband Derek; Jarrad Wolfe and wife Jaimie; Allie Terminie and husband Trent; Corey Randolph; and Regan Doyle and husband Carson. Great-grandchildren: Charlie Sepulvado, Olivia Sepulvado, Henry Sepulvado, Frank Sepulvado, George Sepulvado, Landon Moore, Lucas Moore, Caden Patterson, Kylie Patterson, Ryland Patterson, Abram Wolfe, Abbott Wolfe, Elle Wolfe, and Camden Randolph. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Allen, and sister-in-law, Peggie Wiggins.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, caring heart, and the love he shared with those around him.
Visitation will be held on July 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Centuries Memorial, Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with a graveside service at Centuries Memorial, officiated by Rev. Jack Alumbaugh and Rev. Jon Isbell.
