Claude Charles Shaw

Claude Charles Shaw was born April 29, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Bessie Mae Shaw and Sam Charles Shaw. He was a welder by trade and a handyman by nature. He could fix or build anything. Claude enjoyed fishing, camping and going to the boats to play slots. Some of his favorite memories were spending time at Waffle House with his friends drinking many cups of coffee.

Claude passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in White Oak, Texas at the age of 77. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Cameron Reece Barnhill Jr., and his best friend, Carl Jones.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Angie Ellison and husband, Patrick Ellison, Jeffrey Shaw, Claudia Barnhill and husband, Cameron "Reece" Barnhill, Kevin Booth, Richard Booth and wife, Becky, Steven Shaw, and Braydon Shaw; brother, Gary Shaw; and several beloved grandchildren.

A graveside for Claude will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108.
