Connie was the embodiment of unconditional love, selflessness, and grace. A devoted Christian and a proud member of the Eastern Stars, she lived her life in service to others, always putting the needs of family, friends, and even strangers before her own. If someone was in need, Connie was there—with open arms, an open heart, and often, an open home.
To her family, Connie wasn’t just a grandmother—she was the greatest grandparent. Affectionately known as "Nunnie" and "GiGi," she poured every ounce of her love and energy into her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whether it was crafting, storytelling, or simply sharing quiet moments, she made each one feel uniquely cherished and deeply loved. Her legacy as a grandmother will live on in the values, strength, and joy she instilled in them.
Connie had a creative soul and loved crafting. She also loved to travel, especially alongside her beloved husband, Harold W. Roge', Jr., with Hawaii being one of their favorite destinations.
She is survived by her brother Tim Reed and sister Carla Reed; her grandson Harold W. Roge' IV, granddaughter Christine Roge'; great-grandchildren Madison, Mallorie, and Dixon Ezernack; and numerous nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were like family.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold W. Roge', Jr.; her parents Carlos Reed, Jr. and Georgia Maxey Reed; her sister Lana Lazyone and brother James Rice.
