Mrs. Constance Louise Evans Bogues

Shreveport, LA- A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Connie Evans Bogues, 87, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church in Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bogues was born on August 19, 1929 in Shreveport, LA and passed away peacefully on July 1, 2017 at Aime Hospice Care. She was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Connie was a long-time resident of Shreveport. She loved bowling, bingo, car racing and more importantly all of the people and friends she made through these activities. Connie never met a stranger and had a smile that would light up a room.

Mrs. Bogues was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Bogues and her son, Paul Bogues.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Connie are her sons, Bill Bogues(Sharon), Jack Bogues (Sue), Jim Bogues(Mary), Steve Bogues(Loretta) and her daughter, Brenda Bogues Spencer (Rick); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

The Bogues family would like to express their gratitude to Connie's best friend of 80 years, Theresa Howard and the staff at Aime Hospice Care for all the love and care shown to Connie.
