Darlene was so full of life. Her pride and joy is her son, Jayden. She loved to joke around and have fun. Darlene loved animals, cooking, and making people laugh (just like her dad Phil). Despite her health issues, Darlene was incredibly positive, upbeat, and uplifted others. Darlene’s relationship with God really grew in the last year, and Darlene blossomed and was at peace at the time of her passing.
Darlene was a compassionate and caring person. She loved her son, Jayden fiercely. He was her inspiration to live and to get better. Darlene was a happy go lucky soul that loved to make people laugh and lift them up. Darlene taught her heart sister, Brittany, what it is to have a family, and what it is to love and be loved. Darlene’s last wish is for her family to not take life for granted and to live each day like it is your last.
Darlene’s family wants to send an incredibly special thank you to the staff at Heritage Manor - Stratmore for taking such loving care of Darlene and making her feel at home.
