Deborah Ann Whatley Thomas, age 68, of Keithville, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday December 25, 2018. She was born December 5, 1950 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Clarence Whatley and Vera Stalion Whatley.
There are three steps to heaven, out of self, into Christ and into glory. Deb took these first two steps and lived a happy beautiful life in Christ. Now, she has taken the third step, where there is no more weeping, no pain, no sorrow and no disappointments!
Her spirit will be cherished in the hearts of her husband, A.D. Thomas; sisters, Sylvia Touloupis and Gail Krieger; brother, Tommy; children, Andre, Dawn and Telisha; step-child, Lasonya Thomas; and grandchild, Obadiah Holliday.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vera.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair; perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts we “Thank You” so much, whatever the part.
The family of “sister” Deborah Ann Whatley Thomas will receive visitors on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
